O-Rings and X-Rings
O-rings are rotationally symmetrical seals with a circular cross-section. Due to the many standardised metric and imperial dimensions (DIN 3771, DIN ISO 3601, AS568, ...), they are characterised by their very good availability. The choice of material is essential to ensure that the O-ring seals reliably under a wide range of operating conditions (media, temperatures, pressures, ...). We can draw on a wide range of materials, and even special compounds are possible.
In addition to all common approvals and conformities (FDA, EU 1935/2004, EU 10/2011, KTW, W270, KIWA, WRAS, UBA, DVGW, WRC, NSF61, USP Class VI, BAM, BGA, NORSOK, ...), we also offer detectable materials. X-rings differ from O-rings by their special cross-section, which makes them more resistant to twisting during installation. In addition, the geometry provides a lubrication pocket. All products come with an installation and functional coating, partly also in different colours for better differentiation.
